My Maine Weekend
Feeling: thirsty
Listening to: "Grace Kelly" by Mika
Woah... it's been a while. Fortunately, not too much has been going on.
I went to the midnight release for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix midnight release, which was intense. I drove there with Derek and Sam, and met up with Sarah R once we got there. It was showing on three screens... it was that big of an event. The movie itself was really well done. Obviously it was cut down a lot (we noticed the first twelve chapters go by in around 5 minutes, plus there was a lot of stuff that wasn't there at all) and even though they changed a lot of stuff to make the stuff that they did leave in make sense, it was pretty good. Overall I give it a B+ which is still pretty good.
I worked a lot last week, and on Friday we went to Maine. It was fun. On Friday we drove up and stayed in Ogunquit for the night. We walked along the Marginal Way, which is a path that runs along the ocean, and is very scenic. I'm still kicking myself for not bringing my camera... it had rained earlier and the sunset was lighting up the clouds like I've never seen in my life. It was amazing.
The next day we drove into camp, which was also really fun. I haven't been in a few years because the camping weekend has always conflicted with the weekend I go to Chicago. It was cool because I got to swim a lot and go kayaking (which I love) on the lake. The weather on Saturday was really nice, but it got rainy on Sunday, so we opted to come home last night instead of today.
I hope to get in a few more hours at work until Saturday, when I'll be going to Massachusetts for a party, and returning with Eddie (yay!) until we go to Chicago a few days later.
Not to mention... HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS COMES OUT IN FOUR DAYS!!!!! AHHHHHH!!! I'm flipping out so hard...
Not sure when I'll have a chance to update again because by the time anything interesting happens, I'll probably be pretty busy. I'll try, but no guarantees.

2 Got Shocked; Let The Sparks Fly:
OH EM FREAKING GEE.
How much do you LOVE Mika's "Grace Kelly"?
And how eerie is it that I just heard it three days ago while I'm here in Missouri and then you pop up with this entry listening to it?
Pretty freaky... I actually just bought it three days ago, which means I got it the same day you heard it.
