My Memories
Feeling: productive
Listening to: "Criminal" by Fiona Apple
Oh man. I am going to die laughing.
I've been in the process of a massive cleaning of my room for when my French student comes. Yes, it's so bad that I have to start now. So I got my general floor space cleared off and organized every flat surface available (none of which had seen daylight in months) a few days ago and then took a break. Today I moved on to my closet, which isn't too bad, but there are these two boxes in there that I haven't looked at in years... I just kind of load them in with everything else whenever I move and put them somewhere that I don't have to think about them too much. I decided to go through them, and I am so glad I did.
First of all, I found my Backstreet Boys CDs. Awesome. Also, I kept finding all these random journals from sixth and seventh grade before I had my blog. There are a lot of them... I'd randomly start one, use it for three days, and then forget about it completely. I found one that was full of Hilary Duff and Clay Aiken lyrics, one that I used for my one and only published Harry Potter fanfiction, and one that chronicled my first and only boyfriend. I found the original "Adventures of Kara" too, which I need to frame or something, because in 20 years it'll be worth something, I just know it.
I think the best part though, was finding a letter Kara wrote in one of my journals on (according to the date on the letter) March 11, 2003. This is a direct quote:
Dear BB,
Hi! It's me, Ron! Ha ha! Just kidding. It's Kara. We are on the bus going to the opera. *snore* If my handwriting is messy, it's because of the bus. Now if you're reading this on the bus, I told you not to! Here's my autograph!
Kara Johnson
Please try not to die laughing.

4 Got Shocked; Let The Sparks Fly:
haha!
someday. i'm sure it'll be worth something.
:)
I'm sorry, I'm missing the funny part.
And I don't care what anyone says; I still like the Backstreet Boys.
Eh... if you knew what I was talking about you'd get it.
And did you not see the "awesome" next to the "finding Backstreet Boys" part? I'm genuinely happy I found those CDs.
Yes, I did see the "awesome." I'm speaking to the general public.
