My SpiderPig

First off, everyone needs to watch this:

If you don't think that's hilarious, you're a communist.

Alright, now that I've got that out of my system, I think I can successfully recap the past few weeks. And what an eventful few weeks they've been.

Not last Saturday but the one before, I went to Kierstin's house to see her while she was back from Cheese Land. It was great, and we all had fun. When I got home, Eddie and my brother were back already from Massachusetts. The next day we went to Outer Zone and did a round of laser tag before chilling out in Saratoga (aka getting ice cream and riding the carousel) and later that night, we roasted marshmallows in the backyard. On Monday we went to the Great Escape which was cool; we had picked a great day to do it because even though the weather wasn't perfect, there were no lines. Afterwards, we took the trolley to downtown Lake George (which I had no idea you could do) and got dinner at Capri Pizza, stopped at the candy store, and walked along the lake. The next day, my dad took Eddie, Garett, and I to the Alpine Slide (see post: NOT Lyrics from a Fiona Apple song for more on how that works) and Eddie headed back to Massachusetts with his dad.

The next day (Wednesday) I met Kierstin, Katie, and a few other people at Moe's so I could see Katie for the first time in weeks and say goodbye to Kierstin before I went out of town. It was great, and I got lots of pictures (plus an awesome video) that will be online eventually. Afterwards, my mom took Katie and I shopping for a prom dress that I could potentially wear to Sarah's party, but it was more or less a disaster. Nothing I found was anywhere near the price of the $12 dress I had found earlier (it was a size too small... it wouldn't zip unless I got a few ribs removed and a breast reduction) but it was still great to hang out with Katie.

Thursday we drove into Chicago, but I've been on the computer for a while, so I'll recap starting there in my next post.

I fly back home tomorrow, and Saturday is Sarah's party! I have a lot to do...

You totally don't need a prom dress for my party. Just because Katie is going all out, doesn't mean you have to. The whole reason I put "semi-formal attire" on the invite is so people wouldn't run out and buy fancy clothing.

The only reason I wanted a prom dress was because Katie was wearing one... Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything, so I'll be re-wearing my semi dress. It's just as well, I fricking love that dress.
